| FLEMISH SHORT FILM COMPETITION: SHORT FICTION |
|
The Flemish feature film keeps doing well in the theatres and regarding the production of short films, 2009 is a top year as well. For the 15th time, the ISFFL brings forward a severe but – seeing the high quality and quantity still 4 programs – large selection of new work: the best final works of film schools, a remarkably high number of professional productions and some films which were produced independently. All together there are 22 titles, a fine round-up of again another busy year of short film.
In this category are awarded: the Audience Award (10,000 euros in facilities, donated by ACE and A Sound), the Jury Award (7,500 euros in logistic, general and technical support, donated by Kodak and Eye-Life) and the Award for Best Newcomer (2,500 euros, donated by the province of Vlaams-Brabant). The award ceremony will take place on Saturday 5th December. |
