PROGRAMME ISFFL 2009
IKL RELOADED
As the ISFFL celebrates its 15th anniversary, the festival presents 22 re-runs: a best-of-the-best, divided into 4 compilations. The selection consists of winners from renowned festivals as Clermont-Ferrand, Berlin, Cannes and Sundance, UIP Award winners and of course a series of winners of the past European Competitions of the International Short Film Festival Leuven. The selection is completed with the ISFFL team’s favourites.
 
NORDISK MINI-PANORAMA

For years now, Scandinavian films keep scoring points at the ISFFL with the audience as well as the jury and the festival team. The Nordisk Mini-Panorama consists of 6 recent gems, among which every Scandinavian country (Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland) is represented by at least one film.

BRITSHORTS

The British short film has always been present at the ISFFL. Last year, the European competition counted 2 British winners, but also in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 British film makers took one of the much desired trophies home. We repeat a number of recent highlights.

BIG FILMS FROM SMALL COUNTRIES

The world of the feature film is dominated by America and the entire Anglo-Saxon world. But as far as the short film is concerned, things are different. The festival collected 5 Big Films from Small (film) Countries.
