PROGRAMME ISFFL 2009
COMPETITION FOR EUROPEAN SHORT FILMS: EUROPE IN SHORTS
For young film makers, the different international short film festivals are the first step to the professional audiovisual world. These festivals are the first filters, they are a helping hand for the most talented film makers as they provide promotional and logistic support. The film maker’s profession still has a great appeal: many feel called upon and the number of short films produced annually is extremely high. This year, the ISFFL received almost 2,000 entries. After three months of debating and watching films over and over again, 40 titles were selected from 17 different European countries.

In this category the Jury Award (2,000 euros, donated by SACD) and the Audience Award (purchase and broadcasting by CANVAS) are handed out.
