Nature in the city +

180 min.

Filmmaker Sebastian Mulder is fascinated by the ever-changing and complex relationship between people and nature. In our cities, nature is increasingly pushed back and even replaced by all kinds of simulations. We like watching wild animals in a documentary, but not in our own habitat. Two fascinating short documentaries are complemented by a very original walk through the city that focuses on the (often hidden) nature in our city. Nature guide Stijn Vranckx (natuurgidsfestijn.be) looks at Leuven through a very different lens than the average resident or tourist. He takes you on an incredibly fascinating city walk that will change how you look at the city forever. Buying a ticket at 1 p.m.? Then you take the walk first, followed by the screening. Buying a ticket at 3 p.m.? Then you watch the screening first, followed by the walk. Do you only want to go to the screening? Just buy your ticket on the website. You can book the walk either before or after the film block 'nature in the city'.
