Edition 2011

The 17th edition of the International Short Film Festival Leuven took place from december 3-10, 2011. The ISFFL organised a European Short Film Competition (live-action films)  and a Flemish Short Film Competition (live-action, animation and music videos) in witch jury and audience awards are being granded. The jury consisted of film professionals from all over Europe, a.o. Alessandro Marcionni (Film Festival Locarno), Richard Raskin (Short Film Studies) and Christophe Van Rompaey (director).

Besides the competition, the ISFFL presented broad range of non-competitive programmes such as the “Focus on Ireland”,  “Animation Nations” (including the Belgian Première of “The Monster of Nix” by Rosto A.D.), “Labo Works” (non-narrative film, including a Special Nicolas Provost), “Short Films for Children”  and, last but not least, “Milestones in Short Film History”, a unique classic film programme.
