A SHORT HISTORY OF BELGIAN CINEMA & MILESTONES IN SHORT FILM HISTORY


In recent years, the LISFF presented 2 series of historische short film programmes, each time accompanied by a publication. "Milestones or Short Film History" focuses on 30 influential milestones in the international short film history, "A Short History of Belgian Cinema" focuses on the Belgian short film. Both publications are online available. Printed versions can be bought in the webshop of Dalton Distribution.

DALTON DISTRIBUTION

Fonk vzw, the organisation behind the LISFF, has been active as a promoter and distributor of short films for over a decade. Recently the distribution activities have transformed and expanded. With the launch of Dalton Distribution, a new division of the organisation started. Dalton is active in the field of theatrical distribution, TV sales, video on demand and DVD production and distribution. The short film catalogue currently contains dozens well known Flemish short films, including gems like Oh Willy ..., Death of a Shadow, Mont Blanc, Baghdad Messi, The Importance of Sweet and Salt, Skunk and many, many others.
