Roman Polanski • Poland • 1959 • 8 min.
A doll maker works in his shop, a kerosene lamp beside him. He is surrounded by a jumble of dolls and doll parts, whole and broken. The artisan completes a final repair and leaves, shuttering the shop from outside. Inside, the whispering begins.
