Attending the Flemish animation shorts: grandpas, grandmas, magical fish and cows with existential crises. One notable trend in short animation though is the comeback of stop-motion. Computer animations are increasingly being swapped for oldschool methods. The result? A whirlwind programme of concise but engaging stories.
