Best of European Film Awards
Europe has her very own Academy handing out awards. Every year, the European Film Academy presents the Vimeo Award to the best European short film, during the European Film Awards. Some leading film festivals decide which short films are eligible for an EFA, including Kortfilmfestival Leuven. Last year the festival nominated L'avance by Djiby Kebe. Find out on january 17th if the winner of the European Competition will become an EFA winner as well. During the festival you can visit no less than two EFA programmes: the first programme highlights L'avance and the four other nominated films, while the second features the remainder of the candidates on the shortlist.
