Best of European Film Awards
The European Film Awards (EFA) - the European Oscars if you will - have gained a lot of importance in recent decades. Some leading film festivals decide which short films are eligible for an EFA, including Kortfilmfestival Leuven. The organisation itself then selects five nominees from the longlist. Whoever eventually wins will be announced on 9 December. During the two blocks at the festival, the five official nominees will be shown, and the second block will show the short films the festival picked from the longlist.
