Best of European Film Awards
Europe has her very own Academy handing out awards. Every year, the European Film Academy gives out the Vimeo Award to the best European short film, during the European Film Awards. Some leading film festivals decide which short films are eligible for an EFA, including Kortfilmfestival Leuven. The winner will be announced on Dec. 7. During the festival you can visit no less than three EFA programmes: the five nominees can be found in the first programme, the other shortlisted candidates can be found in the remaining two programmes - including Kortfilmfestival Leuven's own Best European Short Film, A Study of Empathy by Hilke Rönnfeldt.
