Jurytext: The jury feels this film has the most outstanding use of craft; acting, cinematography, sound design, direction and world-building. The world is visceral, feels real as well as the characters. The film grabs you from the first minute and doesn’t let go until the end. We believe even though it seems like the film had a high budget, there were interesting, efficient, and original choices in the form and style that also increased this production value. The screenwriting was fit for a short film but still told a larger story about the subject and themes it tries to address. It provides a very interesting new perspective on this arena which is mostly hidden in society.
